Nancy judges fell out over Rachel's exit
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh had a furious bust-up after Rachel Tucker was voted off I'd Do Anything last weekend.

Lloyd Webber chose to keep Samantha Barks over Tucker when the pair were voted into the bottom two in the semi-final.

Andrew's fellow judge Cameron, who is funding the production of Oliver! in the West End, was unhappy with the decision and lost his temper behind the scenes.

A source told The Sun: "It was a terrible row. They were screaming at each other."

Andrew confirmed: "The fact is Cameron wanted Rachel to stay. He wanted Rachel and Samantha in the final from the beginning of the series. Rachel did a fantastic performance but I had to face up to the fact that she wouldn't have gone any further.

"What I may think professionally is sometimes different to what the public want. I saved Rachel three times and she still ended up in the bottom two."

Speaking about the argument, he added: "It’s all sorted out now. Things just got rather heated. I'm aware that I have to do the best for somebody else and it's difficult."

Barks will compete alongside Jessie Buckley and Jodie Prenger in tonight's final. The winner will play the part of Nancy in the West End show.
