Jodie vows to prove herself to Lloyd Webber
Jodie Prenger has vowed to prove to Andrew Lloyd Webber that she is the right choice to play Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver!

Prior to Jodie's victory in Saturday night's I'd Do Anything final, judges Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh, a producer on the Lionel Bart musical, both admitted that they would choose Jessie Buckley to take on the role of Nancy.

Speaking to DS, Jodie revealed that she would fight to prove to them that she was the right choice.

"They came up to me afterwards and they couldn't have been happier," she stated. "Andrew said to me they couldn't wait to start working and I'd make the most phenomenal Nancy.

"It's given me that fire in the belly and I want to get out there, like I have every week. I have fought fear and I'm going to fight to prove to them that I am the right Nancy."

The 28-year-old also confessed that she had two dream choices for the role of Bill Sykes: "I have phoned George Clooney and Gerard Butler, I'm hoping they'll get back to me in a couple of hours!"
