"The Boyz Are Back In Town features exclusive footage of the band at home with their families, their secret reunion talks with former manager Louis Walsh and their rehearsals for this summer’s 24-date tour," said a statement.
"Talking candidly about their separation, Ronan, Stephen, Keith, Mikey and Shane will look back on their careers as they reveal their reasons for reuniting."
The group's reunion tour began in mid-May.
The documentary will be broadcast back-to-back on June 28 with a recording of the band's concert at the MEN Arena last month, titled Boyzone Live.
Sky One said the night would be "the perfect nostalgia-fest for former Zoners and general pop lovers alike".
