Gavin Henson's 'The Bachelor': Meet the girls

Reality series The Bachelor has been a runaway success story in the US, airing for 15 seasons and spawning spinoffs The Bachelorette and The Bachelor Pad. ABC's ultimate romantic reality show has even created a couple of marriages down the years, so it's more than about time that we got our own version in the UK. Channel 5 has today confirmed plans for just that with the tan-tastic rugby hunk and former Mr Charlotte Church, Gavin Henson, taking on the title role of The Bachelor:



25 girls will be competing for Henson's affections and attention on the show. Expect fireworks and backstabbing a plenty as the feisty girls will all be living together in a villa in Southern Europe and filmed around the clock. With a Rihanna-lookalike, underwear models, glamour models and a beauty pageant winner among the contestants, Gavin is going to be spoiled for choice. All 25 of the girls, who will no doubt want to rub on a bit of Fake Bake on Gavin's famous abs, are pictured below:
