Advent calendars opened - check. Mince pies bought - check. Christmas party booked - check. The only thing missing from our festive plans? A Reality Bites guide to the best reality TV treats over the Xmas season.
Well, worry no more. We've put together a bumper list of the best reality TV highlights over the coming weeks and there's more than enough fun, drama and silliness to bide you over until the New Year. Merry Christmas - and enjoy! We're off to buy the turkey.
The X Factor: The Final - Sat, December 10, Sun, December 11 on ITV1
The thought of lining Simon Cowell's pockets with a big wedge of cash probably isn't the most festive way to celebrate the start of the Christmas season. However, even the biggest X Factor grinch can't deny the spectacular nature of a four-hour X Factor final marathon. Expect special guests. Expect some bland winners' singles. Expect Louis Walsh. Like eating a whole turkey for yourself, it's indulgent, but boy it's good.
Coach Trip: Christmas Special - Mon, December 12 on Channel 4
An idea so amazing, it's astounding that Reality Bites hadn't thought of it before. What do you get if you throw together the best daytime TV show on the box, Brendan Sheerin and some festive holiday plans. The answer? Christmas Coach Trip! Take a break from the Christmas shopping slog and enjoy Brendan's festive trip to Lapland.
Young Apprentice: The Final - Mon, December 12 on BBC One
Sugar is more of a Grinch than a Santa Claus usually, but even the grumpy Lord will be handing out a hefty gift over the Christmas period. It's the final of the cracking second series of Young Apprentice and its time for Shugs to stop the firing and start the hiring. Who are we backing? With all our hearts we want the prize to go to 'Captain Vanilla' James McCullagh. In our heads, we reckon it will be Harry Hitchens.
Got To Dance: The Warm Up - Sun, December 18 on Sky1
Kicking off the reality TV 2012 season, Davina McCall returns with a third series of Got To Dance on New Year's Day. Teasing the upcoming leg-kicking and body-popping antics, Sky1 has a Warm Up show over the festive season to tease the best and worst of what's in store. Ashley Banjo, Adam Garcia and Kimberly Wyatt all return to prove once again, why they're the coolest reality TV panel on the box.
The Only Way is EsseXmas - Tue, December 20 on ITV2
What could be more festive than a bumper helping of Nanny Pat's festive plait? Mark Wright may have buggered off to the jungle, but don't let him ruin your EsseXmas. The TOWIE gang will be pulling crackers and kissing under the mistletoe at Sugar Hut once again, and who wouldn't want to snuggle up with Joey Essex on a cold winter night?
Made In Chelsea: Christmas Special - Thur, December 22 on E4
Feel flush this Christmas? Let the Made In Chelsea gang bring you back down to ground as they showcase how to do a proper posh Crimbo. Among the usual relationship dramas and silliness, expect added champers and Fortnum & Mason mince pies. Totes festive.
The X Factor USA - The Final - Thu, December 22, Fri December 23 on ITV1
Despite a rocky start (Cheryl who?) and Steve Jones's Mr Bean impression as the host, the first series of The X Factor USA has matched its British counterpart for drama and (arguably) surpassed it for vocal talent. Find out who has landed the record contract, the Pepsi Super Bowl spot and the $5 million (£3.19 million) grand prize as Simon Cowell plays Santa Claus for one lucky singer.
Strictly Come Dancing: Christmas Special - Christmas Day 8pm on BBC One
Let the turkey and roasties settle and crack open the sherry for a Strictly Christmas special. It doesn't get any more festive than a Christmas Day cha cha cha with Brucie, does it? Throw in Su Pollard, a surprise appearance from Russell Grant and more dancing than you can shake a Christmas pudding at, and you've got a bumper Xmas Day treat.
