The spinoff, which is expected to air on NBC in April, will feature a new cast and introduce a new character in each part of its six episode run.
BBC Two controller Roly Keating told Digital Spy that his channel will "definitely be running it."
An interactive vote conducted on the show's official website will determine which of the introduced characters will go on to become a cast regular on Heroes' third season.
"In America there's an interactive element and we'd like to do that here, but I don't know if time will be on our side," Keating added.
