Really, only carry on scrolling if you've heard about the death already and don't want to be spoiled...

Ahead of Adrian Pasdar's impending exit from the show, Tube Talk takes a look at the reasons for and against a Nathan-less Heroes.
Nathan should stay because...
- There's more mileage left in his relationship with
NikiJessicaTracy. Undeniably, Nathan has intense sexual chemistry with Tracy and if he goes, they'll be the power couple that never were. Let's not forget the future scene in 'Villains' in which Nathan is not only President, but also married to Tracy Strauss... - He's barely acknowledged Claire as his daughter. Aside from a quick trip to Mexico - in which ClaireBear drunk her biological father under the table with shots of Tequila - the pair are yet to properly address their father-daughter relationship. We're not suggesting they bury the past completely and live happily ever after (poor HRG), but some 'normal' teenage angst from Claire - courtesy of Nathan - wouldn't go amiss.
- He's the more interesting Petrelli brother. Don't get us wrong, Peter's great and he's all moral and whatnot, but Nathan's occasional dips to the dark side make for a more three-dimensional character, right? Plus, life chez Petrelli will be rather dull if Angela is unable to play her sons off against each other.
It's time for Nathan to go because...
- He doesn't really deserve his power. Nathan has always been somewhat in denial of his ability to fly (see 'Genesis') and when he found out in 'Villains' that his power is not genetic - but actually the result of his mum turning him over as a human guinea pig - he's been rather resentful.
- He needs to suffer for his sins. As much as we loved it, rounding up people with abilities with the idea of imprisoning them and then 'curing' them was probably a low point for Nathan. Other crimes include ignoring the fact that he'd fathered Claire and being seemingly unfazed when his wife Heidi left him and took the kids.
- He dies in every season finale anyway. First he was severely burnt by an exploding Peter, then he was shot by a future Peter, and most recently he lost his life at the hands of Sylar - only for his memories to be implanted back into Sylar's head. Each time Nathan is killed-but-not-quite-dead, it's another nail in the character's coffin.
Heroes continues Monday at 8pm on NBC.
