Exclusive - Team Darlton talk 'Lost'!

Yesterday we caught up with Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof - otherwise known as Team Darlton - and they told us how Lost will end!!!!
No, of course they didn't. These guys are experienced in the art of the slow tease, the enigmatic riddle and the saying-something-but-not-really-saying-anything.
We did manage to chat to them for 12 minutes though, so maybe some of their words did have some substance. Click 'play' below to watch:

Well, which actor has a Dutch accent? I mean, I am Dutch, but there are very few Dutch actors in Hollywood, and I can't think of any with a "slightly Dutch accent". Rutger Hauer? Or will it be a woman, like Famke Janssen? And why Dutch in the first place?

I really hope they don't do a Snicket on us and leave loads of questions unanswered. Yeah sure its good to keep us debating but seriously they do need to give it closure.

Wow, this interview is painfully annoying. The interviewer is asking ridiculous questions; "was it always the plan to kill off Juliet?" What the?!? How do you know she's even dead? "Will the dead come back in Season 6?" Do you seriously think they will answer that question? And the loop? DO YOU EVEN WATCH THE SHOW?

Questions I 'd like to have heard them answer - but weren't asked in that particular interview: How did the idea for Lost come about? Was it always intended (since the series was conceived) that the high concept ideas (such as the time travel element) would be introduced as the series progressed - or were they just afterthoughts. Have the original ideas for the story arcs changed much over the years or is Lost still unfolding they way that it was always intended to? Are they just making it up as they go along? You see, I have a pathetic devotion to Lost - I guess I must have become addicted to it - but this interview fails tovconvince me that these guys ever really had a clear idea (after season 1.) where the show was going story wise.

Thanks for asking about Juliet! Naturally they wouldn't give any clear answers but the expressions on their faces were pretty revealing.Gives me some hope for her. Great interview.

hmm, probably would have been more interesting had you not kept asking questions you should have known they would not answer. being more selective with the questions probably would have got you a lot more info from them
