Did you recognise the other celebrities when you first walked into the camp?
"The only people I recognised in the camp were George Hamilton and Samantha Fox. I didn't even recognise Katie Price. In real life, she's much more beautiful than in her photos. She's a stunner for a tiny little person. The others meant nothing to me. I didn't know Jimmy or Stuart from a bar of soap."
What do you think of your campmates?
"Most of the celebrities who go into this fantastic show are either singers or cooks or actors or snooker players. When they are in front of the cameras, they pretend to be fantastic, outgoing high-fliers, but they're not that at all. At home, they're the opposite - and I know because I've experienced this on many occasions. Mohammed Ali said to me a long time ago, 'Joe Bugner, let me tell you something... If you can’t put bums on seats, you ain't worth a dime'. If you think about that logically as an entertainer, it's true. If you can't sell yourself to the public, what use are you? These people have learned to feed the press bulls**t and the public love it. They want to read, 'I get p**sed every night', or whatever."
Why can’t these celebrities be themselves in the jungle?
"Because sadly, 99% of people who appear in front of cameras are bulls**t artists who are trying to impress people."
What advice would you give to the remaining celebrities?
"The only thing I would say is be yourself and stop licking up to each other. They are playing to the cameras, but you've got to be yourself in there. If you are yourself, the general public will love you. I was so p***ed off at times because they were talking such nonsense. These people could please each other until the day they die with their boring stories - but I'm glad I am out of there."
Do you think any romance is going on between Sabrina and Stuart?
"There is definitely something in the air. They both act very stupid for adults - and they’re playing the romance. Instead of admitting it, they are hiding. It’s bulls**it. If you’re going to go before 10 or 14 million people and have a romance behind the scenes, which is totally impossible because there are cameras everywhere, then come out and say you like each other. Hold hands, talk to each other. Do it. Don’t be a coward. If you're going to make a move on a girl, make a move on her and tell the world."
Do you feel cheated that you left the show through a task, rather than just a vote?
"Yes, I feel cheated that I was removed by a task rather than a public vote. I truly believe I could've gone all the way. I think the Jungle Jail was rigged because my eyes couldn't see the numbers on the cage and my torch didn't work. The trial was rigged so that Stuart stayed in and his romance could blossom with Sabrina. It absolutely was rigged. That's my opinion. My torch didn't work. I couldn't read the numbers on the bamboo. And the hole was tiny. I said to the presenters, 'How am I going to get into that little square? Look at the size of me'. They said to me, 'That's your business, not ours. We're just here to tell you what you're going to be doing'. That's not right. Look at the size of me. Little Stuart can fit in there easily, but not me."
What do you think of Katie Price?
"Katie jumped to my defence in the camp - and I think she did that because she was sick and tired of all the s**t that was coming towards me from two or three other people in there. I tip my hat to Katie because she's a tiny little thing. For her to stand up for me was the last thing I expected. That shows me she's got a huge amount of character for a tiny person. I admire her for one reason only - and that's the way she's put her life and soul into being famous. She photographs like a dream and she's every horny man's dream. She's awesome. At the same time, she's a very nice person. However, she doesn't want to be seen as a nice lady because you don't get nice ladies in the papers. A lady with huge breasts, a beautiful face and lovely legs will always get into the papers because there is a horny guy out there wanting to see her."
Who are you going to miss?
"Strangely, I was sad to leave my sparring partner, Kimmy. This lady is a giant compared to the other ladies on the show. She was a lot of fun, but she can talk the hind legs off an iron pot so in some ways I was glad to leave the show and get back to civilisation."
I'm A Celebrity airs at 8.30pm tonight on ITV1
