Rustie Lee disappointed at 'I'm A Celeb' rejection

TV chef Rustie Lee is planning to gatecrash I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! after being rejected for the show by producers.
Programme makers Granada turned her down because they already have a contestant who is a cook in the form of Antony Worrall-Thompson. Speaking to TeleText, the former Game For A Laugh presenter said she still hoped to appear.
"I'm still hoping they might choose me," she said. "I've got a lot to offer. I'll definitely provide a few laughs and I can sing to the other contestants. I'm having my hair done just in case - I'm having it braided."
Rustie, famed for her foghorn laugh, vowed to go to extreme lengths to get on the show.
"I'm going to hire a helicopter and get dropped in," she added. "It's a fantastic show and I could add so much to it."
