The former Blue singer admitted that he is unsure why he is taking part in the reality show as he does not like heights, water or creepy-crawlies.
"I'm afraid of everything, to be honest. I'm not ashamed to say it, maybe when I was younger I would turn around and say 'I'm not afraid of anything', but I'm a 30-year-old man so I can't be bothered with that anymore," he said.
Webbe also revealed that he thinks his songwriting skills will help him get on with his fellow contestants.
"I study human beings; that's my job, that's why I write songs. So for me I'm just an observer. I've been an observer for a long time and I'll make my mind up once I get there," he said.
