Takei: 'Kilroy-Silk is a real villain'

Robert Kilroy-Silk has been branded "a real villain" by his fellow I'm A Celebrity contestant George Takei.

The MEP's behaviour came under close scrutiny as the Home Camp members discussed their rivals in Away Camp on the ITV1 jungle series.

After Takei voiced his disapproval of Kilroy-Silk, the other celebrities were divided as they debated whether his antics were genuine.

"I think we're painting him in a bad picture. I think he's a wind up merchant," Joe Swash insisted. "I think when he comes on people should form their own opinions. That's the thing with Kilroy. You don't know whether he's joking or whether he's serious. I think he's going to be an awkward fella, an awkward character."

Recalling his earlier clash with Kilroy-Silk, Brian Paddick admitted: "I didn't get a good impression of him at the Versace and then when I went in [to Away Camp] he had a go at me. He said: 'You're just here to gloat'. The only reason he apologised is because the others said: 'No, no, no'."

Dani Behr agreed with his take on events, explaining: "If it was a joke he would just have said, he would have apologised. He's probably the strongest character."
