Contestants discuss camp 'legends'

The contestants on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! have revealed who they think are the biggest "legends" on the show.

Former EastEnders actor Joe Swash told Nicola McLean and Esther Rantzen that he counts Martina Navratilova, George Takei and Brian Paddick as heroes in their respective professions.

"You've got Brian whose a legend in his own right in the field that he chose to work in, the police force, he reached the top," he said.

"You've got Martina who's nine times woman’s world champion and you've got Georgie [who took part in] absolutely groundbreaking most famous kind of sci-fi."

McLean later told the Bush Telegraph that she is struggling to decide who she sees as the biggest legend.

"I don't know who the bigger legend [in] camp is actually. Going by what everyone else is so excited about it would be Martina or George but neither of the two of them I knew who they were. These people are a bit too old for me," she said.
