Swash: New campmates treated differently

Rex Features

Joe Swash has said that he thinks new I'm A Celebrity... contestants Timmy Mallett and David Van Day have not been made to feel welcome.

The pair arrived on the show later than the original ten campmates, compromising both space and food supplies.

However, Swash revealed that he does not think this should affect how the other contestants treat them.

"Just because we've been here longer doesn't mean that we've got more rights than them. I don't think they should be made to feel unwelcome," he said.

"Timmy's finding it a bit hard because I had a little chat with [him and told him] not to feel awkward."

He added: "I did [tell]Timmy that he's not going mad. Just so he knows. We're here to get on with it. It just feels a bit uncomfortable. I don't know why it's happening."

Swash also said that he feels a clique is forming consisting of Dani, Simon and Nicola.
