Esther: 'I've gone 8 years without sex'

The former talkshow host, who lost husband Desmond Wilcox in 2000, told I'm A Celebrity... campmates Carly Zucker and Nicola McLean that she would not recommend being without a lover for so long.
"How have you gone eight years without sex, Esther? Please tell me," Nicola asked.
"With a lot of cold showers," she replied. She added that she would be nervous about taking on another lover, saying: "I would be bloody petrified, wouldn't I? It would be like losing your virginity again."
"You deserve a medal, let's get you a Blue Peter badge on the grounds you have been celibate for eight years," Nicola joked.
