David and Nicola bury the hatchet

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! contestants David Van Day and Nicola McLean have attempted to put their disagreements behind them.

The campmates have been arguing since David's late arrival into the jungle, with his decision to take Carly Zucker's bed after she left the camp proving to be a particularly divisive issue.

"David's offered me an olive branch and I took it because I didn't want to be the cause of tension. If he's willing to make an effort with me then I will with him. I'm not going to change my mind and love the man but I'll try and make it as happy as I can," said Nicola.

David revealed that he hopes he can put his differences with the glamour model aside for the duration of his jungle experience.

"The hand of friendship has been given to me and I've taken it because life is too short. It's not over but it’s looking good," he said.
