Brian spends night behind bars

Former policeman Brian Paddick agreed to spend the night behind bars in order to win a cooked breakfast for the I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! camp.

Brian was told that he would be given the ingredients for a full English if he remained caged overnight in a prison containing jungle critters.

He took on the task, despite protestations from the other campmates, saying: "I am the sort of guy who loves the idea of doing something for the people so this is right up my street. I'm going to do it. I'd love to do it for you. I know I don't have to but I will. Don’t forget me!"

Martina Navratilova described Brian's actions as heroic, saying she would not be able to put up with the creepy crawly cellmates.

"He's doing all of that so we can have breakfast. Brian likes to be a martyr. I couldn't do it with those critters. He's amazing, I hope there's not too many critters in there. He's being amazing," she said.
