Joe: 'Mum's message tore me to pieces'

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Joe Swash has said that the video his mum sent him in the jungle ripped him apart inside.

The former EastEnders actor revealed that the impact of the message made him realise how much he misses her.

"It's the most emotional I've been for years. [It] really hit a nerve and it feels like we haven't seen them for years," he told the Bush Telegraph.

He added that he was disappointed at the departure of Simon Webbe, but is sure that the Blue singer is enjoying his time out of the jungle.

"It was sad to see Simon go but I know he's around the pool right now with a beer in one hand and his girlfriend in the other hand," he said.
