George "honoured" to be in final four

George Takei has revealed that he feels privileged to have made it so far on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The Star Trek actor was one of the four remaining contestants on the show alongside Martina Navratilova, Joe Swash and David Van Day when he made the remarks.

He called his time in the jungle "monumental", saying: "This has been the most memorable and unusual experience in my life. Meeting those fascinating people and surviving the hardship, it's been a life changing experience.

"I am so honoured and flattered to be among the final four people. I thought Joe, Martina and Simon would be in the final three, now I’d like to be in the final three."

George also revealed that receiving a video message from husband Brad was his most emotional experience on the ITV1 show.

"The most moving moment was seeing the videos of our loved ones and I saw Brad's face who I've not seen for two weeks talking about how proud he was and how much he was looking forward to seeing him when I leave this camp," he said.

George will compete in tonight's series final following David's departure last night.
