Speaking to Five News, the radio DJ explained that he does not expect Swash's status to change - because he is already well known.
Asked if winning the show can help a celebrity's career, Blackburn replied: "It can do. I would have thought with him it won't make that much difference, I would have thought. People know who he is."
Blackburn added that the programme could prove to be most lucrative for Timmy Mallett and David Van Day, though neither star reached the final.
"Out of this series the people we'll remember are Timmy Mallett and David Van Day more than anything else," he said.
Former EastEnders star Swash was voted as the winner on Friday evening, beating Martina Navratilova and George Takei.
