David Van Day: 'I have West End work'

The '80s popstar blasted his jungle rival Nicola McLean, who has described him as "desperate", claiming that his career is taking off again.
"People take themselves so seriously, especially some of those who were in the jungle," he told OK!. "They were so far up their own a****.
"Nicola McLean said I'm desperate. Yes, love, that's why I've got two West End shows lined up, an album and a book coming out."
He added: "She was going: 'I've got a pair of t**s!' So what?"
When asked what he would buy his fellow I'm A Celeb... contestants for Christmas, the 52-year-old joked: "I'd buy Nicola some gaffer tape for her mouth, Robert Kilroy-Silk a book on how to conduct yourself in public and Brian Paddick some clothes - what an exhibitionist!"
