Former I'm A Celeb... contestant Nicola McLean has laughed off David Van Day's claims that she should be "pleased" with him for boosting her profile.
Speaking at last night's Digital Spy Reality TV Awards, the glamour model branded Van Day's opinion "laughable", pointing out that she was selected as an original contestant while Van Day was a late addition to the show.
"They started with me because they knew how well I would do on the show, so actually he should thank me for boosting his career. He's a bit overweight and he's got really bad surgery - at least my surgery is good! I think I did well for him," she explained.
"I do still have the hump with him because I don't like him. I don't find him amusing, I just dislike him and when I look at him, he riles me!"
However, McLean admitted that she had enjoyed her time in the jungle, saying: "I'm going to be so jealous of the campmates [next year]. It was the biggest job of my career, it was an amazing opportunity and I just loved it."
