The former Hear'Say singer is said to be negotiating her way out of existing commitments to accept the £100,000 offer, the Daily Mail reports.
A source said: "She has been over there having meetings and met all the networks. She has been offered it but because she has got to go away for the whole month she has got to get out of her UK commitments.
"But everyone is hopeful that the people she works for will be understanding as it is a great opportunity. She doesn't want to let anyone down."
Klass would have to delay work projects for Marks & Spencer, Classic FM, Channel 4 and CNN to be able to take up the position, it has been claimed.
I'm A Celebrity... ran for one season on ABC in 2003. NBC has picked up the show and will premiere the 15-episode run on June 1.
