The reality stars have threatened to quit the Costa Rican jungle three times since arriving last week. They have also been criticised for attempting to promote a shampoo brand on camera and demeaning their fellow celebrities.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the network's head of reality programming Paul Telegdy said: "They are everything that’s wrong with America. They are insincere, lazy, entitled and they claim the devil has possessed them."
The Hills couple have since returned to the jungle, but show rules mean that they will only be permitted to rejoin the competition if the other contestants agree. A final ruling is expected on Monday.
