The actor was given the boot from the Costa Rican jungle after losing the public vote to former basketball player John Salley and politican's wife Patti Blagojevich.
Speaking after the result was announced, he gave pregnant wife Joanne a shout-out, saying: "Coming home, babe! See you guys."
Saying her goodbyes, fellow contestant Holly Montag promised that the remaining celebrities would do "whatever we can" for his chosen charity, his mother's breast cancer organisation.
Baldwin was a late entrant to the camp, much to the surprise of his brother Stephen, who was one of the original contestants on the series.
He is the fifth celebrity to exit this year's programme, despite being only the second to lose in a public vote. Comedian Angela Shelton was the first star to be given the axe last week, while her comedy partner Frances Callier withdrew from the show a few days later.
Reality couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt also pulled out of the competition after the former was hospitalised with stomach problems.
