Backpacker Neale tipped for 'Celeb'

Controversial British backpacker Jamie Neale is being lined up for the next series of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, a report has claimed.

The 19-year-old Londoner was recently found alive after going missing in the Australian outback for 12 days. He has since faced claims that the incident was a hoax, allegations which he strongly denies.

ITV chiefs are now said to be hoping that Neale will return to the bush in an attempt to clear his name.

An insider told the Daily Star: "Ever since Jamie was found alive, he's had a tough time trying to prove his story. What better chance to prove he's the real deal than to go on our show and face some poisonous spiders and snakes?"

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns to ITV1 in November.
