Jacksons linked to new 'Celeb' series

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! producers are keen to recruit a member of Michael Jackson's family for the new series, a report has claimed.

According to the Daily Star, the late singer's siblings La Toya, Tito and Randy are on ITV's wishlist for the forthcoming ninth run, along with Tito's three sons Taj, 36, Taryll, 34, and TJ, 31.

A Jackson family source told the newspaper: "The producers of the UK's I'm A Celebrity... have reached out to us. Their suggestions are seriously being considered right now and we'll come to a decision soon.

"It could be one family member or Michael's three nephews. The Jackson family has got good links with the British TV industry and so these offers are being treated seriously.

"This would obviously be a great coup for the show. But it would also be a good way for the family to put across their side of what really happened to Michael."

Last week, a Los Angeles coroner announced that the pop icon's recent death is being treated as homicide.

An ITV source commented: "Every year we like to treat fans to a top lineup of stars but it is much too early to discuss who will be appearing this year."
