James Corden: 'I'm A Celeb is last resort'

James Corden has said that he would appear on I'm A Celebrity as a "last resort".

The Gavin & Stacey comic claimed that he would not go on the ITV1 reality series in the near future, but admitted that he could never rule it out in the long-term.

"I'd like to think I'd never be so broke to go and do that. However, I'm sure there are people boarding a plane right now who said that ten years ago," he told the Daily Star. "It's a tricky old business. It would be a last resort."

Former boxer Joe Bugner, WAGs Lizzie Cundy and Nicola T, socialite Petrina Khashoggi, Playboy model Bridget Marquardt and How Clean Is Your House? star Kim Woodburn have all been linked to the jungle show in recent weeks.

The ninth series of I'm A Celebrity... begins on Sunday, November 15.
