George Hamilton wins phone call home

George Hamilton has won the chance to phone home and speak to his girlfriend.

After taking part in a treasure hunt, the group discovered that they had won chocolate coins and a phone call home for one contestant.

Kim Woodburn, Justin Ryan and Stuart Manning agreed that Gino D'Acampo, Jimmy White or Hamilton should receive the phone call, as they have children. However, Sabrina Washington said that she wanted to speak to her mum.

D'Acampo and White soon agreed that as their children can watch the programme, Hamilton should get the call.

However, the Hollywood star suggested that the group draw straws, with the person picking the shortest straw either receiving the phone call or nominating someone else to receive it.

After Ryan picked the short straw, he said: "This has put me in a really difficult position. Please don't make me choose between you. This is a horrible position to be in, it's so unfair. I want to give it to George."

Ryan later cried as he apologised to Washington for not choosing her. However, she reassured him that she would have made the same decision.

Hamilton eventually talked to his girlfriend Barbara for two minutes as the show's producers could not get hold of his son. He told her that he loves her and misses her, adding that the show is a "positive thing" for him.

Meanwhile, she said: "I'm so proud of you. I love you and everyone loves you."
