The interior designer, who was voted off the jungle show last week, told the Daily Record that he believes Ryan will cope well during his final days in camp.
McAllister commented: "Justin took a bit of a knock when I left, but he is an adult and he is incredibly strong.
"He is very dependable and he is a bit of a father figure who will try and protect the others. As soon as he's given a task, I know he will perform very well - especially because food is involved."
Ryan was recently seen winning eight stars for his team by taking on a water-themed bushtucker trial.
Colin added: "I know he can conquer absolutely everything, so if this is the start of Justin Week on the show - rather than Katie Price Week - then I know he will keep knocking those balls over the net."
Former boxer Joe Bugner became the latest contestant to be eliminated from the reality series at the weekend.
