The 30-year-old actor is now planning to pursue projects in Hollywood with the help of fellow ex-campmate George Hamilton.
He told The Sun: "I want to work in the United States and he's promised to help me. He's very well-connected and hopefully he can introduce me to all the right people. I want to do American TV. I want to do movies. I want to further my acting career. That's my number one goal."
The star again played down reports of a romance with Sabrina Washington, but admitted that they will keep in contact.
He added: "Sabrina and I became close because we're the same age and have the same interests. I think we will know each other for the rest of our lives. Let's just see what happens."
