Westbrook tells Lordan: Quit now
Published Tuesday, Nov 22 2005, 16:46 GMT | By Dave West
Former I'm a Celeb dropout Danniella Westbrook has advised Elaine Lordan to quit the show.
Westbrook, who was on the show two years ago, ended up leaving the jungle in tears. She says the show is "wicked" and intentionally gets troubled stars to compete.
Lordan, who has collapsed twice since the start of I'm a Celeb, has recently been involved in drink-fuelled rows, gone through the death of her mother and dealt with the medical problems of her young son.
Fellow former EastEnder Westbrook said: "It is wicked. It is physical and mental torture. I don’t think that they should allow Elaine back in."
“They always put someone in there that they think is going to buckle," she added, "I found it disturbing to watch. It’s not funny. It’s heartbreaking to see."
“I’d say to Elaine — go home, be with your family, who love you whether you are on the telly or not. Don’t put yourself through it.???
