The former EastEnders actress was admitted to hospital after collapsing twice on her first day in the I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! jungle camp. Although she was keen to return, ITV insisted that she should withdraw from the show.
"She's looking forward to getting home to her family," a source told The People. "The decision was made over her head."
Presenter Ant added, "It was a shame because I think she would have spoken her mind and stirred it up."
