Havers 'I'm a Celebrity' exit nabs 9.5m

Nigel Havers's exit from I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! averaged more than 9.5 million viewers on Monday evening, according to the latest data.

A combined audience of 9.62m (36.4%) watched coverage of the veteran actor giving an emotional farewell to the Jungle camp on ITV1 from 9pm.

The second part of new drama Accused again struggled to compete with I'm A Celebrity… in the 9pm hour, pulling in 3.39m (12.8%) on BBC One, down 1.35m week-on-week.

The One Show attracted 5.28m (23.1%) to BBC One from 7pm, before Inside Out grabbed 4.03m (16.8%). Panorama: British Schools, Islamic Rules mustered 2.69m (10.3%) from 8.30pm.

Earlier on ITV1, Tonight: The Deadliest Bite grabbed 3.76m (11.4%) between 8pm and 8.30pm, outperforming University Challenge with 3.3m (12.7%) on BBC Two.

Elsewhere on BBC Two, Michael Wood's Story Of England had 1.12m (4.7%) in the 7pm hour. Comedy Miranda entertained 3.06m (11.7%) from 8.30pm, before Giles and Sue Live The Good Life fetched 1.75m (6.6%). The Trip then amused 1.12m (5.3%) from 10pm.

Over at Channel 4, Dispatches: City of Fear was watched by 640k (2.4%) in the 8pm hour and 63k (0.2%) on Channel 4 +1. It was followed by Coppers, which locked up 1.81m (6.9%) and 353k (1.9%) on timeshift.

Chris Moyles' Quiz Night mustered 1.07m (5.5%) on Channel 4 from 10pm, while 132k (1.3%) watched the show an hour later.

Channel Five's How Do They Do It? attracted 649k (2.7%) from 7.30pm, before The Gadget Show averaged 1.09m (4.2%) in the 8pm hour.

Extreme Fishing With Robson Greene caught 946k (3.6%) on Channel Five in the 9pm hour. It was followed by a screening of Kickboxer with 704k (5%).

ITV1 won primetime with 28.8% against BBC One's 18.5%. BBC Two came in third with 7.4%, followed by Channel 4 with 4.4% (+1: 0.6%) and Channel 5 with 3.3%.

Elsewhere, spinoff show I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! entertained 1.22m (6.9%) on ITV2 from 10pm and 131k (1.4%) on timeshift.
