Series 11 of I'm A Celebrity launched with 11.5m (42.4%) on ITV1 from 9pm, peaking at 12m (41.5%) during the opening 15 minutes, but gradually declining towards 10.30pm.
The jungle reality programme also had 265k (1.5%) on ITV1+1, while spinoff show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now! set up camp with 758k (5.3%) on ITV2 from 10pm.
In a strong night for ITV, the departure of Kitty Brucknell from The X Factor was seen by
12.49m (41.9%) on ITV1 from 8pm, peaking at 13.67m (44.9%) for the final 15 minutes.
The X Factor results grabbed a further 166k (0.6%) on ITV1+1, but The Xtra Factor slumped to 479k (1.7%) for ITV2 from 9pm and 129k (0.7%) on +1.
Strictly Come Dancing danced away with 10.7m (38.9%) on BBC One between 7.30pm and 8pm, climbing to 11.09m (39.4%) for the second half as former boxer Audley Harrison became the latest celebrity to leave the new series.
ITV1's The Cube had 4.12m (15.6%) from 7pm, while Countryfile nabbed an impressive 7.35m (30.3%) on BBC One.
Antiques Roadshow took 6.6m (22.1%) from 8pm, before Garrow's Law returned with 4.93m (17.4%) in the 9pm slot. Have I Got a Bit More News For You amused 2.18m (12.5%) from 10.30pm.
Channel 5's showing of The Great Escape, Hang Em High and Young Guns appealed to 1.29m (5%), 1.55m (6.6%) and 380k (6.5%) respectively from 6pm.
Remembrance Sunday coverage captivated 960k (4.2%) on BBC Two from 6pm, before a repeat of Top Gear revved up 1.52m (5.7%). How To Build... constructed 1.3m (4.4%) from 8pm and George Harrison: Living in a Material, Martin Scorsese's film about the former Beatle, was enjoyed by 1.3m (5.2%) from 9pm.
River Cottage Veg served up 1.06m (3.6%) on Channel 4 in the 8pm hour and 250k (0.9%) on timeshift. The Secret Millionaire took 1.27m (4.5%) from 9pm and 150k (0.7%). Alan Carr: Chatty Man amused 1m (4.7%) from 10pm and 284k (2.8%) an hour later.
Overall, ITV1 won primetime with 33.6% (+1: 0.5%) against BBC One's 22.7%. Channel 4 scraped third with 5.5%, just ahead of Channel 5's 5.4% (+1: 1.1%) and BBC Two's 5.1%.
On the multi-channels, the new series of Misfits continued on E4 with 560k (2.7%) in the 10pm slot and 218k (2.2%) on timeshift.
