The Celebs face their first task
Published Monday, Nov 13 2006, 13:53 GMT | By Matthew Houghton
The celebrities have been faced with their first task - to find the camp that they could be spending the next three weeks in.
There were two possible methods open to them, either via kayaking or by bungee jumping from a helicopter.
Faith, Scott, David, Phina, Toby and Jan were paired up to kayak, leaving Myleene, Jason, Matt and Lauren to brave the bungee.
The celebs were airlifted by helicopter to their starting points, and comedienne Faith broke down immediately out of fear of flying.
But the six kayaking celebs were soon underway, taking part in a race which Toby and Jan won convincingly, despite capsizing their kayak twice.
Meanwhile, the four other contestants, with the help of some focus coaching from Lauren, completed their bungee jumps successfully, although not before a brief enquiry from Myleene.
She asked the crew, "I am s**tting myself, is that normal", before adding "I hope I don't bounce and hit the rotary blades."
