Last night, both Dorries and Flanagan failed in their attempts to win meals for their respective camps in the Bug Burial bushtucker trial.

Tonight's task involved the pair being served five dishes, which were introduced by a music box playing a well known nursery rhyme with a creepy twist.

The stars were allowed to pass on a dish, but were told that they could not go back to it later. Each dish would be worth one meal, but only the winning celebrity could take the meals back to their camp.

The first course was named 'Little Miss Muffet', containing a baked spider. Flanagan said: "It's not a small spider, it's massive. I don't like spiders." After attempting to eat a small piece, the actress passed on the dish, before Dorries successfully completed the first course.

'Eeny Meeny Moe' contained a camel's toe, with Dorries eventually coming through the tough meal. However, Flanagan spat out the toe and lost the second challenge.

'Humpty Dumpty' saw the pair attempting to eat a fermented duck egg, with Flanagan managing to swallow the egg to win her first point. Dorries however did not complete the task.

The fourth task was titled 'Hot Cross Bums', and contained an ostrich anus. Each contestant gagged their way through the challenge, but spurred on by each other they both managed to earn a point.

Finally, 'Baa Baa Black Sheep' contained bush oysters, which are also known as lamb's testicles. Both contestants passed the task, meaning Dorries won overall by one point.

Speaking after the task, a pleased Nadine Dorries said: "I actually feel a bit sick now, but I'm really glad I did it. When I sat down and saw that massive spider with hairy legs on the plate I didn't think I was going to be able to do it.

"The thought went through my head, 'Oh we're not going to eat any tonight'. But I thought to myself, 'Yeah you can do this. I did it'."

She added: "Camp will be absolutely thrilled that we're going to eat tonight and we've got a meal. They'll be very excited and it will give everybody a morale boost that I've gone back with dinner tonight."

Helen Flanagan said that she was proud of her efforts despite a second loss, saying: "I'm so happy, I know I didn't win. I'm so proud of myself. I've never been so proud of myself.

"I can't believe I ate those things. I'm on top of the world. I know I lost by one point. It's kind of boosted my confidence that I can do things. I feel really happy that I got what I got."

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues on Thursday, November 15 at 8.30pm on ITV1.
