I'm a Celebrity: Ant & Dec, Joe Swash criticise 'joke' Helen Flanagan

By
Ant & Dec have taken a swipe at I'm a Celebrity contestant Helen Flanagan for her poor efforts on the show's bushtucker trials.

Flanagan, who has been picked by viewers to take part in every task so far, abandoned her Bug Burial challenge after only a couple of seconds, when the task was planned to last up to 10 minutes.

She also lost out to Nadine Dorries in yesterday's eating challenge. However, Flanagan did improve on her first bushtucker trial effort, managing to eat three items, including a fermented duck egg, lamb's testicle and an ostrich anus.

Complaining about Flanagan's lack of dedication on ITV2 spinoff show Get Me Out Of Here Now!, Dec said: "It's annoying when they don't attempt the trial. The fact that Helen only lasted 10 seconds was a poor show."

Ant commented: "You've just got to do it. Put up with it and do it – and then the public tend to say, 'OK, they gave it a go. We won't vote for them anymore'."

Get Me Out Of Here Now! presenter and former I'm a Celeb winner Joe Swash added: "Why has Helen flown all across the world not to do the trials?

"They should get a cow prod or something. It's a joke. If she wants to go home I'll get her a ticket now."
