'I'm a Celebrity' Helen Flanagan threatens to 'go home'

By
Helen Flanagan has threatened to quit I'm a Celebrity if she keeps being given Bushtucker Trials by the public.

The former Coronation Street star said that she will "go home" if she isn't given a break from the jungle critter challenges, which have so far included eating animal testicles and being locked in a coffin with maggots.

Flanagan takes on the Cruelty Towers challenge on tonight's show, which features her navigating her way around a 'hotel' with animal guests including snakes, a crocodile, ostrich and spiders.

Despite arriving optimistic and promising to make a "good impression", Flanagan soon begins to doubt herself when confronted with the task by hosts Ant & Dec.

"I need a few minutes. I'm scared. It just makes me want to go home," she says.

"If they're going to keep do this to me every single day I want to go home. I just really want people to stop voting for me. I'm not happy at all. I don't want to do it."

When she starts the task, Flanagan meets an ostrich, whom she names Olly. The soap actress gently talks to the creature as she attempts to secure her first star on the challenge, which is fixed to a light fitting.

I'm a Celebrity continues tonight (November 15) at 8.30pm on ITV1.
