Hopkins eventually withdrew from the business talent hunt because she could not commit to moving from her Devon home to be nearer to Sir Alan Sugar's London offices.
An I'm A Celeb insider told the Daily Star: “We’d love Katie. She makes great telly and could fill the bossy toff role that the likes of Carol Thatcher and Christine Hamilton have taken in previous series.”
