Malcolm McClaren has pulled out of I'm A Celebrity... at the last minute.
The music mogul claimed that the show is fixed and that the producers bully the celebrities on the show.
McClaren told The Sun: "This is not a reality show, it’s fake. They fix things. They know who’s going to win and lose."
Talking about why he agreed to star on the show, he commented: "I was curious about this show. I understand people enjoy it - the whole pantomime torture camp.
"But they are genuine bullies. I’m used to a bit of harassment, but they bully you, ridicule you and try to humiliate you.
"This is about running people down, playing with them and degrading them. That’s the name of the game.”
An ITV source commented: "We’ve flown the guy halfway round the world and put him in a five-star hotel at our expense - it’s an odd way of being harassed.
"We would never have gone to the trouble and expense if we thought he wouldn’t do the show. He bottled it."
McClaren was due to feature in Team Snake Rock on the series and his fellow celebrities believe he has let them down.
Talking about his exit, PR guru Lynne Franks said: "I would have loved him to be there because he's a very intelligent guy. I think a lot of it is fear. It seems an awful long way to come. It's not good PR for him at all."
Supermodel Janice Dickinson commented: "It's rude to us, to ITV, to Granada, to the charity."
McClaren claims that the show's presenters Ant and Dec tried to persuade him to stay but he didn't know who they were.
