Tony Blackburn has been named the winner of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

The former Radio 1 DJ pulled 55% of 1.5m votes to take the title "King of the Jungle."

Tony reacted with calm gratitude to the news. "I'm so delighted, thankyou!"

After Tara had been evicted from the camp and interviewed in the studio, Ant and Dec returned to camp to bring out the last man standing.

"To start with I thought getting through the first week was great, but to actually win it is unbelievable," he said.



There was applause for Tony as the other seven contestants were brought back into camp for one last time. "This is a dream come true," said Uri.



The celebrities were left behind as Tony was led out of camp and into the studio for an interview.

"I found that I could relax much," he said of his experience. "That exploding atmosphere in there didn't get to me so I thought I'd just lie back a bit. I just through myself into it, and all the things I really didn't want to do I just didn't."

After a video message from his wife and daughter back home, it was time for Tony to get himself out of there.
