'Ice' judges demand more cash from ITV

Robin Cousins, Jason Gardiner, Ruthie Henshall and Nicky Slater told ITV bosses they each wanted a £60,000 pay rise following the recent reports over the massive pay demands of the X Factor judges. The proposed increase would take their salaries to £120,000 for the 12-week show.
Karen Barber is believed to be the only judge who has not yet asked for more money from ITV.
An insider told the Sunday Mirror: "The fact that the X Factor pay row became so public really made the Dancing on Ice panel sit up and take notice. They couldn't help but think, 'Hang on a minute, why aren't we getting that much?'
"They work for 12 weeks, just like the X Factor judges, and the show pulls in the same number of viewers. So they feel it's only fair that they are rewarded in the same way."
An ITV spokesman said: "We do not comment on individual artists' contracts."
