Salmon: 'I'd be mortified to leave first'
TV presenter Zoe Salmon has said that she would be "mortified" to be the first female voted off Dancing On Ice.

The former Blue Peter host admitted that she had asked skating mentors Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill to spy on her fellow contestants to ensure that she stays on the show.

"We've all been training in different areas of the country, so I haven't been able to check out the competition properly," she told the Daily Star.

"I've been getting Torvill and Dean to spy on the other girls and report back to me. I'll be mortified if I go off first and I am finding it really tough."

Salmon revealed that the main benefit of appearing on the show is that the intensive training has made her feel comfortable in a bikini.

"Over these last few weeks I've noticed a huge difference in my body," she said. "It's great I am so toned. I just wish it was summer so I could whip off my clothes and wear a bikini."

Football pundit Graeme Le Saux became the first male contestant to be voted off the ITV reality show yesterday.

Dancing On Ice continues next Sunday at 7.10pm.
