Kristina Lenko: 'Judges are too harsh'

Dancing On Ice star Kristina Lenko has complained about the way the contestants are treated by the show's judges.

The professional skater, who has appeared in every series, claimed that the panel members are unaware of the distress caused by their critiques.

"It's just a TV show but those comments can be harsh and hurtful," Lenko told Take 5 magazine. "We do have to act as psychologists as well as skating partners."

Lenko was eliminated in the first round this year after her celebrity partner Graeme Le Saux failed to pick up support from the public.

Asked who she is backing following her departure, she replied: "I think the best celebs this year are Jessica Taylor and Ray Quinn."
