Todd Carty exits 'Dancing On Ice'
Published Monday, Feb 9 2009, 09:46 GMT | By Alex Fletcher

Carty, who had been dubbed the John Sergeant of the series due to his accident-prone skating style, only scored 8.5 points from the judges for his performance to Nat King Cole's 'Smile'.
Unlike previous weeks, Carty and professional skater Susie Lipanova were not saved by the public vote and entered the skate-off with former rugby international Ellery Hanley and Frankie Poultney.
Four of the judges voted to save Ellery and Frankie, while only Ruthie Henshall picked the ex-EastEnders actor.
"I'd like to thank every one of the British public from the bottom of my heart," said Carty afterwards. "I'm going to have a rest and maybe try another sport."
X Factor runner-up Ray Quinn came out top in the judge's scoring again with his performance to Jamiroquai's 'Canned Heat'.
