The former EastEnders actor became a hit with fans of the ITV1 skating show by performing comedy routines, but he was finally voted off the programme on Sunday night.
Carty has now agreed to continue skating in preparation for the programme's latest tour of the UK, which begins later this year.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he explained: "I've been booked for the tour, even with my limited skating skills. Whatever happens is in the hands of the skating gods."
The star added that he had mixed feelings about his progress throughout the competition when more accomplished dancers were eliminated instead of him.
He said: "I was sorry when Graeme Le Saux and Michael Underwood left because they are better than me. But the show is about skating and entertainment and they know this."
