The model told This Morning that despite missing out, last night's show was her favourite of the series.
Messenger said: "I was never picked for the netball team at school and that's what it felt like last night when all the names were being called.
"As soon as I realised it was me and Jess, I just wanted to take the flowers and saved everyone's time so they could have a cup of tea! I knew she was the better dancer."
She said that the whole show had been "a great buzz" from beginning to end, adding that she had stayed out until 2am to celebrate with the crew.
Last week, Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner correctly predicted that Messenger would be the next contestant voted off the show.
