Merna, Metcalfe for 'Dancing On Ice'?

The actresses have been spotted performing at a London rink in front of show judge Karen Barber, reports The Sun.
Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, was expected to appear on this year's lineup, but was reportedly replaced by her soap co-star Gemma Bissix (Claire Devine).
Meanwhile, Merna (Carmel Valentine) admitted in 2008 that she would love to appear on Strictly Come Dancing because of the "glamorous" costumes.
Earlier this week, '80s popstar Sinitta revealed that she hoping to land a spot on the celebrity ice dancing contest.
Former X Factor finalist Ray Quinn triumphed on this year's Dancing On Ice in March.
