Pallett: 'I have bingo wings again'

Roxanne Pallett has admitted that she hasn't been able to stay toned since completing work on the Dancing On Ice tour.

The former Emmerdale actress travelled around the UK with fellow skating stars after competing on the ITV1 show earlier this year.

Discussing the impact of her training, Pallett told PA: "I never lost any weight, it was the shape of my body - I noticed my love handles had gone and that I was a cleaner cut shape rather than having jiggly bits that spilled over my jeans."

She continued: "I've still got my thigh muscles. But my bingo wings are back."

However, Pallett added that she is unconcerned by her figure and does not believe body issues should affect self-confidence.

"I don't rate myself on what dress size I am. I don't beat myself up," she explained. "I can fluctuate like every single woman out there but I don't let it dictate if I'm in a good or bad place."

The 26-year-old recently announced that she wants to earn "acting stripes" before considering returning to her soap role as Jo Sugden.
